Senior Librarian (Readers Services and Systems), Library.
Responsibilities
- Supervision of library circulation operations (issue, return, renew, hold of library materials) and new membership services
- Management of operations of integrated library system.
- Coordinate with VTLS, Malaysia (Regional vendor) and Synergy Computers (Local support service) to resolve ILS related issues
- Installation of necessary library softwares and tools, systems troubleshooting
- Cataloging, classification & assigning subject heading of pamphlet, videos, CDs
- Inter library loan exploring and transactions
- Supervision of course reserve materials
- In charge multimedia services of library
- Creation and maintenance of digital library and institutional repository
- Maintenance of RFID shelf and security management system
- Overall responsibility of shelve reading, maintenance , cleaning & dusting of reading area, furniture and shelves
Requirements:
- Masters in Library and Information Sciences from an HEC recognized institution.
- At least 7 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge Of departmental role, events, and processes
- Well familiar with office use equipment
- Proficient in MS Office;
- Strong leadership and management skills;
- Good qualitative, quantitative and analytical skills;
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills; and
- Self-motivated and organized.
Senior Librarian (References and Research Services), Library.
Responsibilities
- Operate help desks and provide reference and research support
- Supervision information products (press clippings, indexing of journals, company reports etc) creation and maintenance both in hard and soft formats
- Handle external membership services
- Publication of monthly library bulletin (hard and soft formats)
- Conduct information literacy sessions in class and in the library. Brief visitors about the library
- Explore research related tools and promote their use through conducting trainings and sessions.
- Maintain study environment
- Supervise the works of concerned librarians and library assistants
- Explore reference and research related collections and their updation
- Liaison with the faculty for research and reference support
- Be part of the library development and decision-making
- Overall responsibility of shelve reading, maintenance , cleaning & dusting of reading area, furniture and shelves
Requirements:

Librarian (Collection Development), Library.
Responsibilities
- Cataloging, classification of books, using latest library tools in VIRTUA;
- Acquisition and management of journals;
- Online searching of articles etc. for the faculty;
- Explore donations and depository collections;
- Stock verification and disposal of weeded books
- Orientations to the policy study students and faculty;
- Contribute in hiring and training of library staff (assistant and internee) ;
- In charge for security, maintenance and up-keeping of library;
- Supervise the work of technical services librarian, library assistants, attendants, peons, interns and work compensation students at 1st floor;
- Select, develop, organize and maintain library collections and provide advisory services for users;
- Contribute in Electronic Resources Management; and
- Actively participates in the planning, decision-making, management and continuing innovation of library services.
Requirements:
