Education
* Graduate or post-graduate degree in Library and Information Science from an ALA accredited institution, or equivalent.
* Instructional skills highly desirable.
Language
* English - excellent written and spoken language skills
Experience & Special Skills
* Minimum 3 years professional librarian experience, preferably in an Academic environment.
* Experience in international or multi-cultural settings and in working with second language learners in desirable.
* Understands teaching, learning, and research, and how to provide services that will enhance these endeavors
* High level of computer literacy and strong information technology skills.
* Experience in the use of integrated library systems.
* Strong and evidence-based commitment to student-centered learning principles and practices.
* Knowledge of information sources in all formats and demonstrated skills in accessing and utilizing these sources.
* A high level of professionalism and commitment to service quality and the ability to work flexibly in a changing environment.
* Must possess skills to research and analyze business, industry and competitive intelligence sources in a wide variety of areas.
* Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively with individuals and teams.

• Regular communication with supervisor, Library colleagues, faculty and support staff.
• Liaison with other institutions as appropriate.
