Job Description:   
Duties:   
a. Answer reference questions of users and keep them informed.
b. Help users in tracing required information from print and non-print sources.
c. Active participation in the development of reference collection.  
d. Train users on how to locate required books and information related to their study and research needs. 
e. Internet searching for users when required.
f. Handle interlibrary loans/document delivery request.
g. Organizing book exhibitions and library weeks.
h. Preparing specialized bibliographies, indexes and abstract
i. Create users search profiles and SDI service.
j. Coordination with library departments/ sections within and outside the library.
k. Training the users how to use OPAC and Internet.
l. Coordination in the preparation and publication of library newsletter.
m. Any other tasks assigned by University Librarian.
Education / Job Requirements:   
Master in library science with 5 years experience as reference librarian in a well-established university library.
